Ignorance of the rules is no excuse!

Server Rules

This ruleset replaces the old format and is intended to be clearer, more consistent, and easier to apply. The sanctions below are indicative: each case is reviewed individually, but repeated warnings, mutes, or minor sanctions may accumulate and lead to a stronger penalty or ban if the player's history justifies it.

Important: even if two rules are not directly connected, repeated low-level offenses across chat, PvP, bugs, lag, inappropriate skins and nicknames, or VIP misuse can still escalate into a larger sanction.

VIP does not exempt you from the rules: VIP rank does not grant permission to ignore the rules. If you break a rule, the same consequences apply, and repeated offenses may trigger stronger action.

  1. Use of hacks or cheats
    • Any unauthorized modification to gain unfair advantages, such as X-ray, fly, speed hacks, PvP autoclickers or other cheats, is strictly forbidden.
    • If we detect someone using hacks and they deny it, the usual sanction is a 15-day ban, which may rise to 30 days if there are aggravating factors or repeat offenses.
    • If they admit it when questioned, it usually results in a 7-day ban, which may be extended to 30 days depending on the case.
    • If they admit it voluntarily or are identified before anyone confronts them, it is still usually treated as a 7-day ban, with escalation if the behavior repeats.
    • The use of autoclickers, macros and automation tools for PvP or similar combat is also prohibited and is treated with the same seriousness as hack usage.
  2. PvP and abuse of mechanics
    • TPAKILL: killing someone after they accept a /tpa or /tpahere is not allowed. This also applies when different players coordinate so one accepts the teleport and the others kill them.
    • SPAWNKILL: repeatedly killing someone near their spawn, bed or respawn point to stop them from playing is prohibited. Exceptions may exist if the affected player is violating rules, but staff decides case by case.
    • 3 vs 1: groups attacking a single player are not allowed unless there was a prior agreement, a land war or a clear provocation. The goal is to prevent large groups from abusing numbers.
    • Disconnecting during PvP: disconnecting mid-fight to avoid losing is punishable.
    • PvP when it is disabled: intentionally attacking another player when PvP is off for that player is sanctionable.
    • Robbery when PvP is disabled: if two players are not in active PvP, you cannot use the inactive state to steal items or resources unfairly.
    • PvP disabled in a zone: if an area has PvP disabled, you cannot abuse that state with lava, explosions, traps or any other method to kill or harm other players.
  3. Language, insults and offensive content
    • Discriminatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic or otherwise hateful language is strictly forbidden. Even if presented as a joke, it is not acceptable.
    • Basic insults such as "idiot", "moron", "retard" or similar may result in a warning and short mute, with escalation if repeated.
    • Political discussion is not appropriate on the server.
    • Religion is allowed in roleplay or historical contexts, but it is not allowed to pressure others into joining or following a religion.
    • Explicit sexual content or similarly provocative messages are punishable with warning, mute or ban depending on severity and repetition.
    • Message instigation: repeated threats, taunts or baiting by private or public messages can escalate from warning to ban.
  4. Chat and behavior
    • Spam: repetitive or useless messages in chat can lead to warnings and mutes.
    • Flooding: sending the same letter, word or pattern repeatedly over and over.
    • Constant use of caps: occasional caps for emphasis are acceptable, but writing almost everything in uppercase is not.
    • Talking about other servers: advertising or discussing other servers in the chat is not allowed.
    • Claiming that an Aternos server works better than RemoCraft or promoting other services inside the server is not appropriate and may lead to a mute or a stronger sanction if repeated.
    • Toxic behavior: repeated harassment, taunting after a kill, mocking a defeated player, scams or any conduct that repeatedly harms others.
  5. Skins, nicknames, builds and advantages
    • Inappropriate skins or nicknames, including extremist, sexual or offensive ones, are not allowed.
    • Impersonating staff is prohibited. Using a similar nickname is not a problem if no one is being tricked, but intentionally abusing the illusion of staff authority will be punished.
    • Inappropriate builds, explicit pixel art or content that disrupts the server experience are punished with warnings and possible stronger action if repeated.
    • Items with offensive names are not allowed. Examples such as "mataputas" or similar are prohibited and should be renamed or removed.
    • Abusing VIP benefits after VIP has ended or without proper access can result in removal of the benefit and a warning or temporary ban.
    • Lag machines: deliberately causing lag with machines or structures is penalized; if it is reported and removed promptly, staff may only warn and remove the machine.
  6. Bugs, exploits and economy abuse
    • Abusing bugs or exploits to gain resources, advantages or unfair benefits must be reported before they are abused. Sanctions may range from removal of the gain to a 1–7 day ban depending on severity.
    • Abusing lag or server mechanics without authorization may lead to a warning, the removal of the machine and, if repeated, a stronger penalty.

Toxic behavior and cumulative sanctions

Toxic behavior includes any conduct that repeatedly harms, intimidates or annoys others, even if it is not a direct PvP violation. If a player accumulates multiple warnings or minor sanctions without a larger sanction, staff may increase the final penalty progressively based on the player's history.

  1. Repeated harassment: chasing or attacking the same user repeatedly to prevent them from playing normally.
  2. Taunting after a death: mocking a defeated player in an obvious way, especially if it is repeated.
  3. Harassment by the player who died: responding with insults, taunts or repeated stalking.
  4. Scams: deceiving players into giving up items, money or other valuable resources.
  5. Message instigation: provoking a fight or death through repeated messages or private messages.
  6. Repeated disconnections during PvP or abuse of the fight to avoid consequences.

Buying VIP ranks does not exempt you from following the rules. If you break a rule, you will receive the same penalty as any other user, and staff may apply cumulative consequences based on prior incidents.

If you have read the rules, you can go and enjoy the fun on our server!
